We have a variety of different programs for junior golfers including individual and group lessons, youth summer programs, and an elite junior program. These programs teach a variety of things including:
- The fundamentals of the golf swing, putting stroke, and short game shots
- Swing technique
- Golf course etiquette
- Mental game
- Course management
- Pre-shot routine
- Emotional control
The goal of these programs is to spark interest in the sport of golf, get kids active, and help them improve their skills.
Listed below are the times children can use the golf course(s) unaccompanied.
- Juniors & youth can play anytime if accompanied by an adult player in the group.
- Children 8U are only allowed on the courses with adult supervision.
Please be sure that your children are aware of the proper golf etiquette such as:
- Play in groups of four players or less.
- Tee time scheduled before arriving at the course.
- Proper pace of play required and the understanding to let faster groups play through – 2 hours or less for 9 holes is an acceptable pace.
- Care of the golf course. Fixing divots, ball marks and raking bunkers.
- Tee off from forward/shortest tees boxes until able to make consistent pars and bogeys.
- Proper conduct required on the course and in the clubhouse.
If you are unsure of how to instruct your children in these areas, please ask the golf staff. We are happy to help.
